It's All About the Message

Scriptum ex Machina (Writing from the Machine)

It may sound corny, but it all starts with our core philosophy ...

  • Simple, clear communication is always the best.

  • Always know who you are talking to, whether in person, via broadcast, or online.

  • People are basically good and want to trust you ... never give them a reason not to.

  • We live in the information age. No matter what your product or service, if you do not effectively provide the information people need, they will feel cheated.

  • People understand problems and will even reasonably forgive you when it is your fault. But they will not forgive indifference or avoidance.

  • Ivy league juris doctors and MBAs wither before the simple truth, stated well.

  • We live in an age of amazing technology where some have convinced themselves that they can systemize, replicate, and automate everything. In truth you cannot automate relationships, replicate inspiration, or build systems to fully anticipate or mechanize anything human.

  • "Why" you communicate a message is as important as the message itself.
